Eastfield Teachers Rock!

Susan Maxwell is doing a super job as our Writing Coordinator. Here is a message from Susan:

I am trying to make it one of my personal goals to do a better job noticing teachers who are doing great work in their classroom with writing and thinking maps. We do such a good job at cheering on the students, the school, and our principal but we shouldn't forget each other.

With that said, I want to congratulate Mrs. Newton and Mrs. Duncan for a job well done. Their classes have both met their 9 weeks writing test goal of 80% passing. Mrs. Newton had 92% passing and Mrs. Duncan had 100%!!!!! Fantastic job ladies!

We had several others who were very close (one or two students away). I have no doubt that they will make it by the end of the year!
