5. The last gift I bought for someone: Ben and Jerry's Ch. chip cookie dough ice cream
6. The last movie you saw at the theatre: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (No, I am not a big HP fan but we were invited to go and we went)
7. The last dessert you chose Not to indulge in: Ben and Jerry's Phish Food ice cream - I bought some for Scott but refused to tempt myself and it was on sale 2 for $5!
8. The last person you said "I love You" to: My husband and my cats
9. The last person you thanked: my bath room monitors
10. The last RAK (Random Act of Kindness) that someone did for you: (RAKs are unexpected things that people do for you, just because they care for you in some way.) While pulling out of a gas station on Friday, a man flagged me down to let me know I'd left my tank lid open. It was very kind.

Hitting the Big Bucks

Challenge:

If you won the lottery in an amount over $25,000, what would you do with it?  As a teacher, would you do something for education and the kids of North Carolina?  What would it be?

I have actually had dreams about this.  I had a really elaborate plan for buying tech buses, big rock star buses that were rolling classrooms with every imaginable technology available.  I would buy a "school bus" and a "sleeper bus" that would have a bathroom and bunk beds (plus nice beds for the teachers.)  Students would apply to the program to travel for a week at a time, to see NC and our country.  How cool would that be?  I hired a lot of my co-workers, and Mr. Ayers was mad at me. ;o)

I also dreamed about something LeAnn and Mr. Ayers wanted to do.  I dreamed about buying a big old hotel and developing a Mountains to Coast program sort of like Sound to Sea.  Lovely dreams.

On the selfish side, I would travel the world, especially Europe, buy my family houses and vehicles, and set up trust funds for my son and my nephews and nieces.  I would also take my whole school family someplace cool, like Disney World or on a cruise.  Cancel the cruise.  I puked on my honeymoon cruise.  How about Jamaica? 

Dream big, ya'll.  Somebody's gonna win it.  Why not good people like us!
